I guess someone in this country MUST take a bullet before GOP leadership find a clue

This right wing horrible hate rhetoric:

Let's be clear, this is not about any health care passage. This is about using the Tea Party, Republican Party and any issue from Barack Obama to spew this hate, period. The deafening silence from the Republican Party, for me, says it is "A-OK" and continue the course. Republican Party, "Where is your leadership?" Also, this bigot was on the GOP talking points about the health insurance bill, which is now law, which every point is inaccurate from his hate speech.

Death threats to Senator Patty Murray (D-WA):

Federal prosecutors have charged a Washington state man, Charles Alan Wilson, with repeatedly making threatening calls to Sen. Patty Murray's Seattle office, threatening to kill her because of her support for the health care bill.

FBI agents say they arrested Wilson after getting telephone records and calling him to confirm that his voice matched the one left on voicemail in Sen. Murray's office.

And does ANYONE believe this is about health care? Please.

The "N Word" from Tea Party folk, is anyone surprised?

Again, these people hide under a tag but many are racists, plain and simple. Now this in Washington, DC. Is anyone surprised? Not me.

Abusive, derogatory and even racist behavior directed at House Democrats by Tea Party protesters on Saturday left several lawmakers in shock.

Preceding the president's speech to a gathering of House Democrats, thousands of protesters descended around the Capitol to protest the passage of health care reform. The gathering quickly turned into abusive heckling, as members of Congress passing through Longworth House office building were subjected to epithets and even mild physical abuse.

A staffer for Rep. James Clyburn (D-S.C.) told reporters that Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-Mo.) had been spat on by a protestor. Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.), a hero of the civil rights movement, was called a 'ni--er.' And Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) was called a "faggot," as protestors shouted at him with deliberately lisp-y screams. Frank, approached in the halls after the president's speech, shrugged off the incident.

But Clyburn was downright incredulous, saying he had not witnessed such treatment since he was leading civil rights protests in South Carolina in the 1960s.

"It was absolutely shocking to me," Clyburn said, in response to a question from the Huffington Post. "Last Monday, this past Monday, I stayed home to meet on the campus of Claflin University where fifty years ago as of last Monday... I led the first demonstrations in South Carolina, the sit ins... And quite frankly I heard some things today I have not heard since that day. I heard people saying things that I have not heard since March 15, 1960 when I was marching to try and get off the back of the bus."

"It doesn't make me nervous as all," the congressman said, when asked how the mob-like atmosphere made him feel. "In fact, as I said to one heckler, I am the hardest person in the world to intimidate, so they better go somewhere else." read more here....

Go, Tea Party, Go!!!!

Yes, there is nothing like seeing tea party leaders threaten the GOP, STATEWIDE. And coming from their no doubt, racist leader, Dale Robertson. Oh, you don't know him? Here he is holding a sign about our President proudly in his hands during one of his protests.

But back to the Tea Party threatening the GOP:

Dale Robertson doesn't mince words. The tea party spokesperson and head of Teaparty.org in Houston issued a strong statement this week warning state GOP leaders that if they didn't support strongly conservative candidates, their jobs were at risk.

"We are turning our guns on anyone who doesn't support constitutional conservative candidates," Robertson said. "If they don't get that, and their party chairmen don't get that, they are going to be ostracized."

Jim Greer, Florida's GOP Chairman, was forced to resign earlier this week under similar pressure from far-right activists following his endorsement of Charlie Crist, a "big-tent" Republican who has been criticized by some conservative factions for being too moderate. Tea Party activists have backed Crist's opponent, Marco Rubio, in the upcoming Republican primary.

It is people like this within the Republican Party that are running moderates out of the party. This is why Governor Charlie Crist (R-FL) is having a very difficult time in Florida from his opponent State Senator Marco Rubio. Again, keep an eye on this primary race in Florida, if the Tea Party is successful, Crist will lose his bid on running in the general election for the open U.S. Senate seat.

The Hate Train against Obama continues from the GOP (video)

Now Obama is an "enemy of humanity".

Will it ever end? I don't think so, not as long as his skin color is not white. Sorry, but we all know what this is about.

Trent Franks of Arizona said in a speech to conservatives Saturday in St. Louis that Obama's decision to fund international family planning organizations that support legal abortion shows "he has no place in any station of government and we need to realize that he is an enemy of humanity."

Bethany Haley, spokeswoman for Franks, said the congressman was referring to "unborn humanity" and should have clarified his statement.

Rep. Roy Blunt (R-MO) compares Obama and the Democrats to monkeys (Video)

Well, I did not want to post this but Blunt is taking heat for his racist rhetoric in Missouri. Blunt is running for the senate in 2010, and he thinks this will help? I don't see how he can win with rhetoric like this, it is a total turnoff.

MADDOW: Behold, a Missouri congressman, candidate for U.S. Senate, until recently, the number three Republican in the House, telling what seems to be a really long, meandering, gut-churning racist joke.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

REP. ROY BLUNT (R), MISSOURI: Supposedly it’s the turn of the 19th century, the end of the 19th century, beginning of the 20th century, there was a group of British occupiers in a very lush, very quiet, very peaceful, very uneventful part of India. And this group of British soldiers who were occupying that part of India decided they’d carve a golf course out of the jungle of India. And there was really not much else to do. So, for over a year, this was the biggest event going on getting this golf course created.

And they got the golf course done and almost from the day the first ball was hit on this golf course, something happened they didn’t anticipate. Monkeys would come running out of the jungle and they would grab the golf balls. And if it was in the fairway, they might throw it in the rough. If it was in the rough, they might throw — they might throw it back at you.

And I can go into great and long detail about how many things they did to try to eliminate the monkey problem, but they never got it done. So finally, for this golf course and this golf course only, they passed a rule, and the rule was you have to play the ball where the monkey throws it. And that is the rule in Washington all the time.

(LAUGHTER)

(END VIDEO CLIP)

MADDOW: Well, who does what? So, who’s the — who’s the monkey in Washington in this story? It’s Republican Congressman Roy Blunt who wants to be the next Republican senator from the great state of Missouri. Mr. Blunt performed his lamentation of Washington monkey at this weekend’s Values Voter Summit in Washington.

The UNITED FOR HATE rally against President Obama, from Keith Olbermann on Countdown (Video)

50-70K gathered in Washington, D.C. for hatred, pure hatred. This is the Republican Party, a party that needs MINORITY VOTERS to make a return. Well, they won't get any new members with this rhetoric. And they walked all over Senator Ted Kennedy. These people and this party is atrocious. A battle for the heart and soul of America? Says who? The South? Please. Cross section of America, "white, whiter and whitest." And listening to the likes of the idiot of all television, Glenn Beck? Too much.

From Keith Olbermann, the right winged are trying to get the President killed (Video)

I don't care who you are, in the end after listening to these teabaggers, birthers, right winged extremists, you can not help but wonder do they really want the President killed. All this white noise out here is not good for this country and just rev up the racists and bigots in this country. Case and point, all these people have grabbed either Barack Obama is not a citizen to healthcare to hide behind these excuses to exude how they really feel and it is plainly racist. Saw this on Keith last night and sadly, this is how I feel in the back of my mind. Keith with Dan Savage.

This killing of Obama out there with the right wing nuts is REAL

Again, there is no damn reason why anyone should bring a gun to a health care rally. Again, many racists have found COVER of a cause to spout anti-Obama rhetoric. Again, the leaders of the Republican Party have also catered to this heated, rhetoric. Lastly, having a black man at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue is driving many racists crazy.

Chris Broughton, the man who brought an assault rifle and a handgun to the Obama event in Arizona last week, attended a fiery anti-Obama sermon the day before the event, in which Pastor Steven Anderson said he was going to ‘pray for Barack Obama to die and go to hell’, Anderson confirmed to TPMmuckraker today.

Republicans looking for the GREAT WHITE HOPE from Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins (Video)

Yes, the Republican Party, a.k.a. the "Racist Party". And this congresswoman is on VIDEO saying this. Not racist much? If the Republican Party is looking to EXPAND, it won't with racial rhetoric as this.

The Topeka Capitol-Journal reports that freshman Rep. Lynn Jenkins (R-KS) told a town hall meeting a week ago that the GOP still had to find a "great white hope."

"Republicans are struggling right now to find the great white hope," said Jenkins. "I suggest to any of you who are concerned about that, who are Republican, there are some great young Republican minds in Washington." As examples, Jenkins mentioned Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA), Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI).

Congressman attacked at town hall by teabaggers, birthers, protestors, whatever you call them

Again, this is dangerous. This is playing with fire. Is this what the Republican Party is about?

As lobbyist-run groups encourage conservative activists to “rattle” members of Congress at local town hall events, Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-VA), the president of the freshman Democratic class has revealed that “at least one freshman Democrat” has already been “physically assaulted at a local event.” Connolly warned that conservative groups had taken things to a “dangerous level“:
“When you look at the fervor of some of these people who are all being whipped up by the right-wing talking heads on Fox, to me, you’re crossing a line,’ Connolly said. ‘They’re inciting people to riot with just total distortions of facts. They think we’re going to euthanize Grandma and the government is going to take over.”

This is riot antics given to you by the K Street lobbyists, who are feeding on a frenzy of a very small portion of the population.

What has to happen next? Gun shots fired? Or someone seriously injured? GOP you down for these thug tactics? Again, no answer because they are leaderless.

Speaker Pelosi warns of "out of district, extremists" coming to a town hall meeting near you

While we are watching these right wing extremists being bused in by lobbyists, "K" Street in D.C.; these organizations are feeding on a underlying racist, hatred from these individuals. This is not only unhealthy but extremely dangerous. Below from Keith Olbermann:

These individuals have been all over television, hell we saw them during the general election campaign. The same types calling Barack Obama a terrorist, "kill him", etc. This type of talk is again, not only dangerous, but a turn off to many Americans, whether you voted for Obama or not.

Now we have these same nut jobs, disrupting health care forums by democrats all over this country, using lobbyist, GOP talking points. I must write, some are so dumb that they are talking about don't take medicare away from me, when medicare is a GOVERNMENT RUN PROGRAM. Hello? Intelligence? Again, does something have to HAPPEN for this to stop?
Unfortunately, those not interested in health insurance reform are disrupting public meetings and not allowing concerned constituents to ask questions and express their views. Many of these opponents who are shutting down civil discussion are organized by out-of-district, extremist political groups, and industry-supported lobbying firms.

This is typical gangster, thug style the GOP is playing with. I hope Democrats around this country are enlisting the local police, they will need it.
