That roundtable on Meet the Press had me rolling...(VIDEO)
Number one, David Gregory was not in control of that roundtable. Joe Scarborough was. Scarborough talked over EVERYBODY as if this was his lil morning show.
Scarborough went after Bay Buchanan, who tried her level best to defend Mitt Romney and his performance and just got trounced. Not only by Scarborough, but the Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed slammed Romney stating, "the Republicans have a candidate that is defective..." You could hear a PIN drop when he laid it down. Bay tried to interrupt him and he said, "hold up mam, let me speak..."
David Brooks, simply said Romney is a FAKE. He is running a fake campaign that no one believes, even himself (Romney).
Bay Buchanan stated about Romney's 47% comment "...he can't worry about them, he has to worry about the 6%.." Meaning that the campaign is only focued on the invisible 6% of independents that look more democratic each day. Also, Buchanan kept talking about the race tied. It is not. The national polls (remember) is about polling from all 50 states. In that aspect, it is tied or Obama leads a bit. But the electorial college is WON, state by state. That aspect Buchanan did NOT focus on. Here is the remark by Bay Buchanan below in regards to explaining the 47%:
“What he was saying is the 47 percent is going to be voting – this is what it looks like – solid base of the president. Included in those people are people who are going to have a hard time reaching. There’s people who are dependent on government, some believe and feel they’re owed something by government and many of them don’t pay income tax, and my message doesn’t work for them. That’s all he was saying," said Buchancan, who advises the Republican presidential nominee He never said he didn’t care about them, that he wasn’t concerned about them.”
As for Paul Ryan, Joe Scarborough tried his level best to defend his butt getting BOOED by the AARP crowd. Dude, you can't explain that away. The take away from that AARP convention is that the seniors are going to double down and NOT vote Romney/Ryan, period.
Dee Dee Myers was like a cricket.
Finally, this clip opens up with Chuck Todd and the real math, called the state polls. It does not look good for Romney.
2:36 PM PT: Then you have Ann "you make me gag" Coulter who had the nerve to say this, "Democrats ‘Dropping the Blacks and Moving on to the Hispanics’" Seriously, you can not make this shit up.
Read it and Watch it, here.
2:51 PM PT: I thought Micheal Steele was a joke as head of the RNC, but Reince Preibus surely beats him, "Reince Priebus: Last Week Was ‘Good’ For GOP" I don't know what kind of cloud he is laying on but watch it, here.
5:14 PM PT: New DNC Ad put together the Sunday Roundup on Mitt Romney and his 47% remarks. NOT GOOD.
5:18 PM PT: I am putting all these roundtable links clips up because none of it was GOOD for Mitt Romney.

Harold Ford, Jr. states the left will be disappointed in Obama's speech on Wednesday (Video)
Harold Ford, Jr. is from the DLC mode, the mode out of power in the Democratic Party and not one of my favorite politicians. The notion that the left or progressives should just chalk it up, meaning drop the public option for the team is disastrous. The whip should have been on the Blue Dogs, why? Because you don't destroy the very BASE, i.e., progressives, your activists in this whole fiasco. It will be REMEMBERED what Rahm Emanuel said to progressives, to the day he LEAVES the White House. The Progressive Caucus HAS THE VOTES, the Blue Dogs don't. It is time for the Obama White House to use their leverage and whip these folks into place. The thinking of something is better than nothing will suppress and demoralize the base. Case and point, Obama is losing across the board, bleeding support from Republicans, Independents and Democrats. If he can not deliver on health care, he will have a very hard 2010. The Republicans are fired up, our side not so much. Not with the continuous blunders of a White House that can not keep on simple message, not with convoluted messages from this White House and not with the continuing for bipartisanship which is a joke, at this point. No public option, hard times in 2010 and it will start with the Blue Dogs going down. Video from Meet the Press.

As we miss the most trusted voice in journalism....
one voice we don't miss or wish was not even on television is David Gregory.
Walter Cronkite's passing was a revelation of things, a reminder of what a real journalist was, a reminder of what we don't have on television today.
There is no real news on television now, since everything is about opinion and framing opinion for the public. Maybe this is the demise of news. Many of these organizations are not run by real news personnel, but the entertainment segment of its flagship. That is why the public don't trust news organizations any longer. These organizations are not straight shooters anymore, not like Walter Cronkite, one who gave you the story straight, honest and factually correct.
NBC has totally lost its luster. Here is David Gregory, moderator of Meet the Press, regarding the Mark Sanford fiasco:
Look, you guys have a lot of pitches.. I get it and I know this is a tough situation... Let me say just this is a place to have a wider conversation with some context about not just the personal but also the future for him and the party... This situation only exacerbates the issue of how the GOP recovers when another national leader suffers a setback like this. So coming on Meet the Press allows you to frame the conversation how you really want to... and then move on. You can see you have done your interview and then move on. Consider it.
What happened to asking hard questions, Mr. Gregory? But instead, inviting a Governor or staff member on his show to frame the conversation the way THEY WANT? David Gregory, Mark Sanford not only had an affair, but the man went AWOL from a state where NO ONE KNEW WHERE THE HELL HE WAS!!! He was totally irresponsible, totally neglected his duties and totally was wrong, but he is invited on Meet the Press in an attempt to CLEAN UP what he did by framing it his way?
This is why the public don't trust the media and this is why the media is a joke.
Read it all here.

Another Stimulus Package?
I knew this would happen.
The fight for the first stimulus package was just not enough money, in my opinion. Now to listen to David Axelrod on Meet the Press, yesterday, put that out there is just another head scratcher.
Do we need it? YES, but will it be passed by congress? That is another matter. It is called, looking at the poll numbers.
A senior White House adviser said Sunday the economic stimulus has not yet "broken the back of the recession" but set aside calls for a second massive spending bill. Republicans, meanwhile, called spending under way a failure.
White House adviser David Axelrod urged patience for President Barack Obama's $787 billion economic stimulus package in the face of sliding poll numbers. Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, a past and potentially future presidential candidate, said the spending was ill-designed and served only to expand the size of government.
Republicans have seized on the public's growing unease over government debt and spending to challenge the popular president. Sensing their own vulnerabilities, Obama's top advisers have ramped up their defense of spending that is incomplete and going slower than many had hoped. read it here....

Senate Republicans trying to dial back the "racist" rhetoric from Newt and King Rush (Video)
Again, the Republicans are leaderless and with that comes all the crap we have heard all week long against Judge Sonia Sotomayor. In the end, she will be confirmed. In the end, the Republican Party may have DAMAGED themselves further with Latino voters.
Senator Lindsay Graham (R-SC)
Still running for President, Mitt Romney
Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL)
The Republican Party needs to decide which way to go. Continue to demonized Judge Sotomayor with baseless attacks while alienating a voting block they need? Continue to make sextist remarks against Judge Sotomayor, which makes many women angry? These are voting blocks that the Republican Party LOST 2-1. Now continue to let King Rush, Newt and all the blowhards who only care about their radio shows, book sales, etc., continue to talk, in the end you will get what you got at the ballot box in November, a defeat.
