Bill Maher DESTROYS Dinesh D'Souza's propaganda Obama 2016 movie

Dinesh D'Souza is a PIECE OF SHIT. Straight up. His logical thinking in putting this Obama 2016 movie together vears from basic logic. Bill Maher tore him a NEW ONE when he categorically destroyed his premise for this movie.

And the AP Factchecking states: "Anti-colonial" Obama not plausible"

Seriously, there is so much bullshit out here that is incorrect, you seriously got to dig through it to find the truth, IF YOU CAN.

Reading the Twitter remarks (and there weren't many), I was surprised that Dinesh D'Souza's name wasn't mentioned one time. So much for making yourself relevant by making a documentary film. As a filmmaker myself, I think I can be objective here about the use of scary music in a film behind images of a man frowning. I would think he's a monster, too, but those are all cheap editing tricks. Secondly, if I had the time, I would counter each of your arguments one-by-one, Dinesh, concerning the litany of complaints your film throws at the viewer so quickly you cannot substantiate them (and knowing that, you don't try). The people who already don't like Obama for whatever reason salivate for your propaganda like Pavlov's dog, but I watched carefully. I can be persuaded that Obama is anti-colonial, but you present no constructive proof he is anti-American.

I have a compliment for you on the parallels you drew about the challenges Obama faced growing up, which you compared with your own life. The insights you provided about different kinds of racism and exploitation in the lives of Black Americans as opposed to dark-skinned people from former colonies is valuable. For that reason, it was worth seeing your film. I would throw away the last part of the film from about the part where you repeat the shot of the young man grieving at his father's grave and grabbing dirt and pouring it out in a line several times. That is the part where your film becomes insincere and you begin obviously trying to manipulate your viewer. Not sure why you chose to make your film an anti-Obama film when your greatest criticism of him concerned personal qualities he shares with you!

Also, because I myself earned a BA in Africana Studies, I do not disapprove of non-white Americans entertaining relationships with anarchists, like the individuals you listed. There is a little-known phenomenon called "miseducation (of Blacks)" in this country that results in suppressed rage in individuals. You might know that Malcolm X was a Muslim, and that W.E.B. DuBois was a communist. Having studied the Black psyche, I feel knowledgeable in stating my belief that our President is a healthier individual for having explored these options in his life and education, and for taking any steps necessary to feel empowered as a human being. And as for your film, I will classify you with Sigmund Freud, as someone who revealed far more about his own inner mind than about the person/people he "studied." The difference between Freud and D'Souza is that Freud's fallacious ideas caught fire somehow and it doesn't appear that yours will.

All is not lost, Dinesh! Not even your film. You don't have to make it a pro-Obama film, but re-work it, and re-publish it. Make it a pro-D'Souza film! Your ideas are helpful, and if you're sincere throughout the filmmaking process, you can achieve peace in this world, in our lifetime.
