Something big happened this weekend. Yes, big. Barack won South Carolina by 28 points, but other things happened.

This was a very hard, contentious and unbelievable week for many Democrats watching South Carolina.

I was born a Democrat. I learned to work precincts with my Democratic mother. Learned to know issues, talk to folk, and when it don't smell right, it isn’t right.

That is what the Clintons mean to me, at this point, they are not right.

Injecting race, purposely into the South Carolina race was a tactic I have not seen since Harold Washington ran for mayor in Chicago. So, excuse me if I feel nauseated and look at The Clintons in a despicable manner.

For the first time in a long time, we, the Democrats are looked at by many in the party and many new to the party for ideals. New Ideals.

After this past week in South Carolina, The Clintons represented a candidate of old, divisive ideals.

Like New Hampshire, no one expected Barack Obama to trounce Hillary Clinton by 28 points. Most polling, if you believe it showed 8-10 points and some closer than that. So, the 28 point defeat of Clinton sent a clear message.

CUT IT OUT. STOP THE DOG WHISTLE TACTICS. RACE DOESN'T MATTER.

When Barack Obama took the stage it was clear that he is the candidate of the future, not the past. He will represent all of us, not some of us. And we can believe him, trust him.

As the crowd yelled directly during Barack's speech: "Race doesn't matter!!! Race doesn't matter!!!!" "We want Change!!!" We want Change!!!" "Yes We Can!!!!" "Yes We Can!!!"

You better believe that many of the millions of Americans that witnessed this agreed 150% to all of that.

Finally, Change That We Believe In. Totally. Barack Obama.

Today was incredible.

Today we saw the matriarch, Senator Ted Kennedy (D-MA) endorse Senator Barack Obama, with his son, Congressman Patrick Kennedy (D-RI) and Caroline Kennedy who wrote an op-ed for The New York Times, endorsing Baraack Obama, titled "A President Like My Father."

Seeing the three Kennedys on the stage with Barack, their comments was stirring, moving. For me, it was Caroline Kennedy. This is a woman who regards her personal privacy, highly and does not do this. Now we know, she was so moved to do so, by her children, as I wrote in my diary last night.

But more happened this past week and it all revolved around the divisive tactics of The Clintons. These tactics were and are so dangerous that many democratic establishment, including Senator Kennedy, have told The Clintons to basically knock it off.

We don't have time, as a country, for playing one group against another as Senators Kennedy and Obama indicated today. We need to come together, as one, because when George W. Bush leaves office in January 2009 who knows what the real truth will be, because we never knew it.

We need a leader to bring us together, not with divisive tactics, but to stand as one. The Clintons after South Carolina is not the candidate, they never will be. If they are the candidate, expect fallout from people across this country not voting for them, loss of gains in congress, and the same old 50+1 politics.

It is time for change. The change is Barack Obama.

Bill Clinton has compared Barack Obama's position on the Iraq war to a "fairy tale." He dismissed the Illinois senator's campaign as based on a "false premise." And he suggested that electing Mr. Obama would be a "roll of the dice."

February 5, 2008 is upon us in eight short days.

The Obama Campaign have built infrastructure in these 22 early states. On the path of the dream that many progressives have wanted, A 50 State Strategy.

We have been on a rollercoaster since the Iowa Caucus. It has been a ride many of us will remember for the rest of our lives, but Obama Supporters and Advocates must keep your eyes on the prize. This means we work as underdogs, because we are.

Hillary Clinton is the establishment candidate. She has establishment behind her. We are a people, powered movement. We are the fire and run The Obama Campaign.

Hillary Clinton will call the chits in on February 5, 2008. The establishment owes The Clintons.

On February 5, 2008, we, The Obama Advocates and Supporters, will be already activated and ready to take our family, friends, neighbors, co-workers to the polls\caucuses for Barack Obama. Elections are won on strength of the candidate and more importantly, the foundation, the ground troops, the GOTV\GOTC.

Barack Obama, himself has said, “he is not supposed to be here.” And he is not, but he is. We are on the cusp of transformational, fundamental change that this country has not had since John F. Kennedy, Jr. It is time for us to step up and move this change forward.

For this to happen, we must fight for it. Change is not what the status quo want, desire or need. Change is what the status quo will tell you, to appease you, for you to vote for them. It is time to turn the status quo off and fight for this change. One person, one vote at a time.

Obama Wins NEVADA!!!

Yes, he did, technically. Hillary Clinton won the populous vote, whatever it is, but Obama won the vote that matters, the delegate vote. As Chris Bowers break it down:

Until the national media declares that Al Gore won the 2000 presidential election because he won the popular vote, I will continue to assert that Barack Obama won the Democratic caucuses in Nevada. To agree with one statement without agreeing to both statements is to be caught in a logical contradiction. If delegates to the national convention don't determine who won a state in a nomination campaign, then the Electoral College doesn't determine who wins the Presidency in a general election. We all know, of course, that both of those propositions are false.

So, what happened yesterday? Hillary Clinton won the beauty contest, Obama took home the prize, the delegates. Yep, he won yesterday.

Remember, the path to the nomination, starts with the delegate count.

With all the sniping from the Clinton camp about whether Barack Obama has enough experience to make a strong president, consider another presidential candidate who was far more of a novice. He had the gall to run for president even though he had served a single undistinguished term in the House of Representatives, before being hounded back to his district.

That was Abraham Lincoln.

Another successful president scorned any need for years of apprenticeship in Washington, declaring, “The same old experience is not relevant.” He suggested that the most useful training comes not from hanging around the White House and Congress but rather from experience “rooted in the real lives of real people” so that “it will bring real results if we have the courage to change.”

That was Bill Clinton running in 1992 against George H. W. Bush, who was then trumpeting his own experience over the callow youth of Mr. Clinton. That year Mr. Bush aired a television commercial urging voters to keep America “in the hands of experience.” NYT

Barack Obama will be on ABC’s Good Morning America, Monday, January 21, 2008.

I am writing about this because he will primarily address the distortion of former President Bill Clinton about his record. As poblano writes, “It’s about time.”

The negativity, distortion, and yes, straight up lies from the Clinton Campaign and its surrogates has turned the Democratic Party upside down. And the injector of race by the Clintons, has establishment Democrats warn them almost to the point to pick up a microphone and possibly, endorse. For real.

When the former president called Kennedy, the Massachusetts Democrat gave Clinton an earful, telling him that he bore some blame for the injection of race into the contest. In any event, both Hillary and Obama made peace on the race issue at the Las Vegas debate. The Clinton camp now fears that Kennedy is leaning toward Obama, according to the Clinton source, though Kennedy's office says he is making no endorsement "at this time."

The Clintons need to wake up. The country does not like this, it is hurting out party, they are decidedly “disrespecting” a segment, and Bill Clinton need to go somewhere quietly, sit down, and not say another word.

Obama Seeks to Lower Temperature, Clinton Follows

Seeking the high ground in a Democratic primary battle that turned especially nasty over the weekend, Sen. Barack Obama told reporters this afternoon that he wants to lower the temperature of the debate.

"I've been a little concerned about the tenor of the campaign," Obama said during a hastily called news conference. "I thought that it would be useful for me to just air this out a little bit."

Obama said he does not want the issues to be lost in a battle over personalities and statements about matters tangential to the race, a tone that Sen. Hillary Clinton quickly took as well in a statement issued by her campaign.

"We've got too much at stake at this time in our history to be engaging in this kind of silliness," Obama said. "I suspect that other candidates may feel the same way." Chicago Tribune

Let’s look at things realistically. Nevada.

Much went on in Nevada surrounding the endorsement of the Culinary Union, which spawned a lawsuit by a Teachers’ Union who were surrogates of The Clintons.

Well, the lawsuit was dismissed, as it should have been. But, why it was even brought forward in the first place!! When this mandate of at-large precincts was agreed by The Nevada Democratic Party and all unions and players at the table, last summer. Again a bogus lawsuit.

But the worst thing was seeing Bill Clinton whine and complain about the Culinary Union endorsement and defend the Teachers’ Union lawsuit. In the end, he looked pathetic. And here is this word again associated with The Clintons, disenfranchisement. We saw this in their whining about students voting in Iowa, which was legal and now this. Next, the word dirty politics will be associated with The Clintons. Oh, but let us not forget that per Bill Clinton, Barack Obama is now the Establishment Candidate. Oh, brother, how far does that nose stretch?

Through all this noise, Barack continued to speak to massive crowds throughout Nevada; many had to have overflow rooms. People were patient and eager to hear what Obama had to say.

In the end, Nevada was won by both Clinton and Obama. Clinton for the beauty contest, Obama for what you need to win, the delegates.

How did this happen? Simple. Obama won enough in Clark County, which is Las Vegas Proper, and won the rest of the state. It is that simple.

Many have written that Nevada is a swing state, it is. Saturday was proof if you can win across the state and not just in a major urban city. Obama proved that. Clinton won Clark County, but was destroyed outside of Las Vegas. This tells you that her appeal across the board is limited.

To win in November, we must have a candidate that is appealing across the board, meaning that Independents and Republicans will vote for him. Obama has proven that.

When you talk about rolling the dice, that roll would be to have a candidate in which 50% of the country will not vote for, who is polarizing, and unappealing outside of the Democratic base.

That is the real roll of the dice to possibly, losing.

Michelle Obama: Husband is No "Fairytale"

Michelle Obama said Sunday her husband is the person America needs in the White House right now and criticized anyone who would dismiss his campaign as being built on illusion or fairytale.

She said Barack Obama is the right candidate "not because of the color of his skin, but because of the quality and consistency of his character" and that postponing his bid for the White House was not an option.

"I know about the sense of doubt and fear about what the future holds, that keeps us hoping and waiting for a turn that will never come," she said. "There are a lot of doubters and naysayers out there talking about, 'I'm not sure America is ready for a black president.'"

Who's Afraid of Obama?

Ever since he threw his hat into the presidential ring, some liberals have worried that Barack Obama is unelectable. This country, they say, simply isn't ready for a black president. Ultimately, the concern that Obama can't win because he's black says a lot more about the people who voice it than it does about the electorate it purportedly describes. So, who are these people, and what's really behind their anxiety?

It's tempting to say the "electability" worry is a pretext for people who really oppose Obama due to their own racial prejudices, and I'm sure that's true in some cases. But it's the folks who worry for Obama for his own good who are most fascinating. Lots of black people have said they think Obama can't win and others—predominantly from the Southeastern states—have gone further and said they'll vote against him to "protect" him from the inevitable assassination attempts that will dog a black president.

I find it hard to take this rather appalling paternalism seriously, but if it is a pretext, then what is going on in the minds of these defeatists? I suspect there are three distinct reasons for Obama fatalism among liberals of all races: false realism, once-bitten timidity, and investment-in-oppression.

Barack Obama Announces Plan to Revitalize the Economy

Barack Obama today unveiled a plan to revitalize the economy in the short-term with a stimulus package that will immediately inject $75 billion into the economy in the form of tax cuts and direct spending targeted to working families, seniors, homeowners and the unemployed. The plan also includes $45 billion in reserves that can be injected into the economy quickly in the future if the economy continues to deteriorate. Obama will discuss the plan later today at events in Nevada.

First off, the lost in New Hampshire was stunning. It was for many. After depending on polling both campaigns, the pundits, everyone believed Barack will win New Hampshire. Well, it did not pan out that way, and he lost by 2% points.

Lesson. Wait for the returns. Forget the pundits and spin, wait for the return. Everyone learned a lesson on that one.

Next. Hillary Clinton.

There has been much talk this past week about not only Hillary Clinton but her husband, Bill Clinton. This campaign is being run straight out of the Karl Rove playbook. After watching Meet the Press it was painfully clear.

I don’t agree about the vetting of Barack Obama. Look what he has gone through since his announcement and is still standing. You must also remember, all the smears, foul tactics are from Clinton surrogates and Bill Clinton himself. Let us review their playbook.

Prior to Iowa, there were two different times that Clinton staffers/volunteers were caught spreading the email Muslim smear against Barack Obama. And again, we get a limp, “I did not know. I did not authorize it.”

The Billy Shaheen incident. Shaheen was Clinton’s campaign manager for New Hampshire. His very unsettling remark of the “GOP will ask if Obama sold drugs”, not only outraged the African-American community, but many black establishment picked the phone up and weighed in on The Clintons and their smear tactics. Result, Hillary Clinton, publicly apologized to Barack Obama in D.C. at the airstrip as they were about to fly to Des Moines, Iowa. Billy Shaheen removed from the campaign. Shaheen's wife, Jeanne Shaheen, former Governor of New Hampshier is now running for the senate seat, against, Sununu. Polling has her losing ground since her husband's incident. The good folk of New Hampshire don't like or appreciate slimy campaign tactics.

A former senator from Nebraska, Bob Kerrey, came on board for Hillary Clinton. In doing so, he also made menace of Barack’s heritage, family and name. So many found that over the top and offensive, Kerrey had to apologize.

Hillary referenced the Civil Rights Era as had it not been for LBJ and passing the Civil Rights Act, it would not have been. Stating it took the power of the president to get it done. Well with Martin Luther King, Jr. anniversary upon us in a week, ask many of those who are still alive what they went through. Meaning, many blacks and whites were beaten, dogs attacked, hoses put upon these individuals, and many were killed for ending segregation and justice.

Bill Clinton. Notorious for being all about me, then referenced Obama’s campaign as a fairy tale. Bill Clinton then had to go on Al Sharpton’s radio program to explain his answer and himself. Why? The African-American community was shocked and now angered.

The Clinton Campaign complained and tried to suppress the college, youth vote in Iowa. The campaign complained about out-of-state students participating in the caucus, when the law states clearly that they can. As Clinton advisers stated, "Our people look like caucus-goers [and Obama's] look like Facebook." Now the Clinton Campaign is entrenched in suppressing the caucus goers in Nevada, targeting the casino workers.

All of this leading up to Clinton’s performance on Meet the Press.

Through this program, practically every answer from her mouth was about Barack Obama. Watching this program, you would think Barack was sitting next to her. Literally and figuratively. Tim Russert, then questioned Hillary Clinton’s vote for Iraq, she could not answer straight because she was on the Barack Obama bandwagon.

Since, Donna Brazile, a Democratic Strategist and Congressman Jim Clyburn (D-SC) have weighed in with displeasure of The Clintons campaign tactics, they have been under the gun. Both are neutral on the race, as far as endorsements, but Clyburn is insinuating that he may just endorse. While all this is going on The Clintons are still implying that the Obama Campaign is the one who have started the veiled race notions, when it is clear and evident that all this has been started by Team Clinton.

The Democratic Party is a big tent. We have people of all races, ethnicities, backgrounds, etc. This is the party of inclusion, not exclusion. It pains many to see these nasty, dirty tactics being used against Barack Obama. Does vetting from your own party mean, all the above? If so, what kind of party is this?

GOP tactics have no business in this primary season. It does not. Which only make it perfectly clear what The Clintons are about. Winning at all cost, don’t care about any opponent, winning just narrowly, abide by 50+1 guideline, don’t care about a 50 State Strategy, and only care about themselves.

The last time I read, The Democratic Party was not named “The Clinton Party.” We must vote for total change, not some change, total change.

Well, much has happened since the last 'This Week'. For one, Barack Obama won the Iowa Caucuses and not narrowly, but by 8 points over John Edwards and 9 points over Hillary Clinton. If this is not the voice of the public on the CHANGE MARCH, I don't know what else this means. Iowans came out in a record breaker of 239,000. Republicans and Independents crossed their party line to stand for Barack that Thursday evening. If this is not a movement, then tell me what it is. Finally, the record breaking crowds the last 2 weeks in Iowa was a strong indicator that the turnout would be record, then the Des Moines Register Poll had called this caucus spot on.

Now the movement trumpet is beating in New Hampshire with record breaking crowds. If you are the other guy in this race, I would be biting my fingernails now. I would.

The Obama Phenomenom

The historians can put aside their reference material. This is new. America has never seen anything like the Barack Obama phenomenon.

I was surprised all day Thursday, before the results of the Iowa caucuses were in, by the apparent serenity of the Obama forces here in New Hampshire. The stakes were enormous, but the campaign staff members and volunteers seemed as cool as the candidate.

The students, veterans, middle-aged moms, retirees and others working steadily to make Barack Obama president seemed to accept as fact that the country is ready for profound change and that their job is to help make it happen. NY Times

Barack Obama's first words after winning the Iowa caucus were intended for history and they were gorgeous: "They said this day would never come." Perhaps he was thinking small. Perhaps he was thinking about the long days in July and August and September when he trudged along the trail, well behind Hillary Clinton — who seemed a juggernaut at that point. Perhaps he was thinking back to his childhood, to the father who barely knew him and the mother who let her parents do most of the child rearing. But I suspect he was thinking bigger, back to Martin Luther King — and King's dream that someday his children would not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. Iowa, Thank You.

Not for just caucusing and standing with Barack, but for embracing change.

I worked out of the Cedar Rapids office from December 27-January 4th. I had the pleasure of working with some of the nicest Obama Staff, Volunteers and Iowa Supporters, I have ever met.

Their work ethic was focused, precise and thoughts pragmatic. Did we worry about polls, etc? Of course, but we KNEW that it was all about getting your supporters to the caucus. Period.

The Obama Campaign’s GOTC was the best of any campaigns in that state. Many of these field organizers have been in Iowa since March and KNEW the community. A big difference from Clinton importing thousands at the last minute to perform the duties the Obama Staff Members have been doing for months.

And it showed. Clinton, third place and Edwards, second place.

Now the momentum and movement for change is in New Hampshire.

As, Iowa which Barack had RECORD CROWDS, New Hampshire is the same. Folks are driving in from others states to see, hear, shake hands and photograph Barack Obama, but more importantly they are going to VOTE FOR HIM.

Above are all the latest polls from CNN/WMUR daily tracking and USA/Gallup Poll today. Both have Obama up 10-13 points. This is great, but means nothing if folks don’t go to the polls. And in my gut, I believe they will. They want change and they want to be part of history in process.

So, New Hampshire is showing up in record crowds in: Salem, Manchester, Milford, Exeter and Derry.

What does this tell you or indicate? Change.

What is more important though is the eradication of the “Obama Can Not Win” meme. For any candidate growing the party, firing up the young in this country, having Independents and Republicans to cross the line and vote for you, sorry neysayers Barack Obama can win. And the Republicans know this.

If Barack Obama wins New Hampshire, he is on his way to be our Democratic Nominee. No candidate on either side can fire up or light the passion in the public as Obama. No one.

American change is coming and the change candidate is Barack Obama.

Thank You, Iowa, for starting the movement for change.

the above photo is from the 100 dinner in new hampshire, on saturday. as this photo caught my eye, i just sat back and thought about the thousands of obama supporters out there knocking on doors, calling folks, getting ready to pick people up for the polls on tuesday. folks, this is not only a movement but history in the making. i am damn proud to be a part of it, as you should be too. pretty soon, others will drop out of the race and we, as obama supporters will welcome them to our fold. the blogs can be heated and as always, "focus on obama and not the drama...."

Snow Doesn't Stop Obama Crowds

Barack Obama’s campaign has said that bad weather could deter supporters from participating in the caucuses on January 3rd. However, if today is any indication of how voters will react to bad weather, the campaign could be wrong.

By Iowa political event standards, an enormous crowd packed a high school gym in Coralville - it was so packed that an overflow room was set up for those who couldn't fit into the gym.

Prior to the event, the campaign said that primarily undecided voters were invited to attend. (They estimate that over 900 undecided voters and supporters attended.)

The crowds seem to be invigorating Obama as he delivered an energetic version of his "closing argument" speech and spoke like a man who is still has “hope” that he might win. CBS

Californians, be forewarned: The phone calls are coming!

The California state branch of Democrat Barack Obama's presidential organization has publicized a tactic that most of the leading campaigns can be expected to pursue -- calling voters to remind them that they don't have to wait to cast ballots in the nominating contests.

Debbie Mesloh, communications chief for the Illinois senator in California, noted in a recent release that absentee ballots for the state's Feb. 5 presidential primary will start being mailed Jan. 7. Also, applications to vote by mail will be accepted until Jan. 29. L.A. Times

Unprecedented money being spent in Iowa.

Folks, it is. It makes one wonder if these other candidates are really serious about campaign finance reform.

Barack Obama did not raise money to waste it. He raised this money from us to build the grass roots organization we have the priviledge to witness come to a reality. Just look at his reinvented website. It lists all 50 states and the committment to opening and staffing offices to march on.

There are some candidates who have not been able to raise the money to compete, especially since these candidates promised to not take public financing. But to compete with the likes of Clinton or Obama, you must have money and not be limited to spend it.

So, here we are with the wink-wink, nod-nod, of acceptance from these outside groups, while deriding and chastising these groups, but in the same token accepting these groups.

What does that mean? For me. Hypocrisy.

When your are campaigning your words matter. "The system is corrupt", matter to people. "The system is rigged", matter to people. "The system works against you", matter to people. The same corruption that many campaigns are talking about is the same corruption that is allowed for their benefit.

For me, it matters. What about you?

Blacks Turned Off by Bill Clinton's Attacks on Obama

Bill Clinton says Sen. Barack Obama is a highly ambitious, political prodigy who is asking voters to "roll the dice" and elect him president.

The controversial comments made on PBS's "The Charlie Rose Show," last week are the latest in a series of attacks on Obama by the ex-president as the stakes for the Iowa Caucus heat up and the Illinois senator pushes ahead in the polls against Clinton's wife, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York.

In a wide ranging interview with Rose, Clinton suggested Obama was a risky and inexperienced choice. "When is the last time we elected a president based on one year of service in the Senate before he started running?" Clinton asked Rose, arguing that voters in theory could find someone who is 'a gifted television commentator' and let them run.

"Even when I was governor and young and thought I was the best politician in the Democratic Party, I didn't run the first time. I could have," he told Rose referring to the 1988 presidential campaign.

"If you listen to Obama supporters, they say basically 'We want to throw away all these experienced people because they have been through the wars of the 90s and they made enough decisions and mistakes. And what Americans want is somebody who started running for president a year after he became senator because he's new and fresh, he never made a mistake, has massive political skills and is willing to risk it," Clinton told Rose.

Critics of the attacks say the former president is 'calling the kettle black' - he should know - that's a fair description of Clinton when he sought the presidency in 1992. more

Former Edwards Supporters Take Aim at Edwards

Democrat John Edwards has been critical of the involvement of outside organizations that spend money to influence voters.

But some former supporters are questioning how committed Edwards is to that idea, as union leaders who support him are now doing exactly that on his behalf.

"He said he would change Washington, and we believed him," says a new letter from some 2004 Edwards supporters. "Times have changed, and so has John Edwards."

But Edwards has said that, while he wishes the outside groups wouldn't run those ads, he can't control what an independent organization chooses to do.

And officials of the Service Employees International Union today spoke out in defense of their Alliance for a New America, which they set up to advocate for union issues.

The alliance "enables working people to pool their resources to gain a voice on the key issues facing America as the country heads into the 2008 elections," Dave Regan, SEIU District 1199 president, said in a written statement today.

The letter writers are behind Democrat Barack Obama this time around, and it was Obama's campaign that released their letter today.


"(T)his time, we support Barack Obama for President," the letter says. "He is the ONLY candidate in this race who’s not getting any help in Iowa from Washington lobbyists, special interest PACs, or the Washington-based organizations known as 527s. We can trust Barack Obama to change Washington , to tell us the truth, and most importantly – to win in 2008."

At this point in the campaign, polls mean very little. Why? Because we are expecting upwards of 150K to come to caucus. Yes. The excitement is at fever pitch, now.

Who will it benefit? I don't know. From write ups and polls, Clinton and Obama. But again, who knows.

The weather is predicted clear and cold. Which means, good turn out by Iowa standards.

The good folk of Iowa are tired of phone calls, knocks on doors, mailers and TV ADS. I don't blame theme. I have been here since Thursday and when I see an ad, I turn the channel too. It is that bombarded.

I must state this, the Obama Campaign is running a fabulous campaign which is a testament to the sheer genious and of Barack Obama. This is one of the very few campaigns I have worked where the inclusiveness is number one. And folks that means and states a lot of Barack.

OK. We don't know what the ending story in Iowa will be, but no matter what Barack has changed the scope of campaigning from here on out. This campaign will be a model of many to come. It will.

I am getting ready to canvass tomorrow and we are doing a massive canvass for January 1. I am fully equipt now. No more slip ups from ice!!!

Next week, we are in New Hampshire. This is the start folks, what we have been waiting a year for. Let's do it.



ok, this is a picture from davenport, ia, where 850-1000 people gathered to hear barack. in the snowstorm. yes, they did not care. this is a testament to our guy and his draw. now, it is left to iowans. barack has made his case. we just have to wait and accept the results. no matter what, we move on and forward to new hampshire from here. to iowans, thanks for listening to our guy and no matter who you support, just caucus. it is the democratic process and the democratic way.
