    Mayor Virg Bernero of Lansing Michigan at it again, this time schoolin' FOX NEWS (Video)

    I posted Mayor Bernero's video yesterday from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. He schooled them ALL about the disparity of the working man and Wall Street. Damn right, what has Wall Street given up? Because they for DAMN SURE, have not given up their damn checks, have they? And here they are at the taxpayers till AGAIN, for more money to help them fix their 'effed up books due to the mortgage meltdown.

    It just ain't right.

    There's an old saying in golf...Drive for show and putt for dough...and this was a show...and a good one at that. It's unfortunate that FOX didn't do their homework on this guy...They would have learned about his own double standards and about Bernero's union busting attitude. Within his own city, Virg has refused to settle the teamsters contract for several years now. And when it comes to economic development in downtown Lansing he approves millions of dollars in tax incentives to developers and does little to prevent the outsourcing of those good local construction job that would keep Lansing residents employed.

    The guy from FOX must have known that Bernero is up for re-election this year. Bernero is up against some stiff competion and it doesn't look good for the Mayor. A recent pole showed the incumbent Bernero at a 50/50 draw with Lansing City Council woman Carol Wood who only just announced her candidacy yesterday . Several neighborhoods are of the opinion that Lansing is on the Virg of disaster and it's rather apparent that the citizens of Lansing are ready to replace him. The Mayor before Virg led by example and returned five percent of his salary to the City. Can't say that practice was followed once Virg got into office.

    James, your post is a joke and so is the "poll" you mentioned. Bernaro has done more for Lansing and the working people who live there than the last 3 mayors put together. Maybe the Teamsters contract isn't settled yet because THEY don't want to make any of the sacrifices that everybody else is having to make. Union-busting?!?! Please. The guy has been endorsed by every union on the planet every time he's run for anything. Get a clue pal and quit being a mayor hater. Wood is a joke and so are you.
