    it's too bad that all the pundits he's talking to right there, are the very same people that help the republicans propagate this myth of them as the party of fiscal conservatism, as a party that is somehow motivated to oppose the stimulus by anything other than the desire to score partisan political points. chris matthews and the rest of them will go right back to lauding the republicans for taking a stand, and winning the supposed message wars (because we all know the media has no part in that right), first thing in the morning. they're nodding along with sullivan today, but they are complicit in the damage that has been and continues to be done to ordinary folks outside of DC, who are barely making it in this economy because of the republican policies and talking points promoted by the beltway press.
