    Yea! SHUT-EM ALL DOWN! Put the mail service into the private sector where it belongs which will be more cost effective. Stop making tax payers pay these rediculus postal deficits and postal worker salaries, retierment plans, medical benefits, etc. The government has been unsuccessful at running anything - this is no different. Stop making the tax payer carry the burden. Fed Ex and UPS can pickup the additional services for minimal cost, probably cheaper than the current US Postal Service can. It makes me sick to learn what we pay these employees as a salary, and more importantly the out ragious benefits and retirement plans need to stop.

    The USPS salaries are paid with stamp and parcel post revenue not your tax dollars! They are a private sector and more cheaper then Fed Ex and UPS. So support the USPS before you are sorry.

    is dstorm a fed ex or ups employee...the USPS is supported by stamps and parcel post revenue not your tax dollars like DRO said! The usps is definitely safer then the internet ..I know at least three people who have had been robbed through online internet transactions....I support the the usps...we are the most trustworthy and we deliver to every door step everyday!!!! Please Support the USPS! Write more letters or postcards....don't u like to get friendly greetings in the mail!!!! sincerely Jal
