Obama says, "Spare me the phony outrage" (Video)

He has found his footing. Mock the GOP and the Republicans for fools that they are. Force a debate on the real issues.

Thank you. I am tired of the lies and the double-standards over the last week (since the RNC). It is frightening when the video cuts of the same comments are lost to only one party. Both Bush and McCain made reference to the term "pig in lipstick" during separate speeches. Therefore, when you (John McCain) cry outrage maybe you should check your archive of speeches given my you (John McCain). and your twin (President George Bush). I am waiting to hear about what you and Sara Palin have to say to people who make less than five milion dollars (us poor people) since that is the benchmark for poor people.
This issue isn't about the "lipstick" comment. That phrase has been used for many years and is perfectly valid. The issue is about the context of the phrase. Obama wasn't talking about Palin and it was obvious. Nowhere in the sentences before the use of the phrase (or after) did he mention Palin. He was, in fact, talking about the likelihood of change should the nation elect McCain...it clearly had nothing to do with Palin but the Reps are doing their best to cloud the issue. If McCain's going to stand a chance he'd better fire whatever campaign manager thought up this poor excuse for an argument. And frankly, shame on the media for seizing it the way they've done. If we actually HAD a responsible media in this nation these pointless attempts at subversion wouldn't effect the election. Unfortunately, we have a media that is solely run by the almighty dollar and they'll print/post/broadcast any pile of poo that might capture market share.

But that's just my opinion....heheheh
I think it is a valid comment. McCain didn't have a problem with the phrase when he used it on Hillary Clinton. Yep. That's right he said the smae thing about Hillary Clinton and he is now calling the comment sexist. WOW
