I just viewed Keith Olbermann's powerful commentary. Mr. Olbermann has given you a tool that will fall on deaf ears unless you seize the day. Never, never has our country needed powerful, honorable leadership more than this moment.
You have the capability of winning this election. You were and are the candidate for change. However, McCain and Palin have bastardized the concept and destroyed the meaning of the word. "Change" now lies like a limp rag on the democratic convention floor while it has become the Republican mantra.
You must act as the powerful, creative peaceful warrior that we desperately need right now. You must find a direct route through this maze and lead us on to victory with a battle cry that unites us to elevate the human condition.

And thee only way to do this is to find a way to speak to all of us. You must find the common ground that defines the American experience that we all share. You must help each of us to know that our differences serve to provide us of with the grand diversity that is the foundation of our strength, energy, and inguenity as a people. You must find a way for all of us to acknowledge and appreciate that as much as we are individuals, as much as we have differences, it is our shared humanity upon which we must focus to save ourselves individually and collectively.
You can make this happen. You must make this happen now.
