Obama to the GOP, "I WON"

HELL YEAH.

And he did not just barely win, he won by 7 points with a mandate. He has 59 Democratic Senators, he expanded the Democratic House Seats. The Congress is solidly Democratic.

Yes, GOP, Republicans Obama won. Period.

It is hard to swallow. Obama is being nice, considerate, extended the olive leaf first, but in the end he makes the final decision.

The Republicans can either get on board with this stimulus package or go sulk in their offices on the Hill. Lastly, they need to look at themselves and figure out why the public turned away from them to the Democrats. Until they can be honest and handle it, they will continue to be in the weeds.

The top congressional leaders from both parties gathered at the White House for a working discussion over the shape and size of President Barack Obama’s economic stimulus plan. The meeting was designed to promote bipartisanship.

But Obama showed that in an ideological debate, he’s not averse to using a jab.

Challenged by one Republican senator over the contents of the package, the new president, according to participants, replied: “I won.”

It is simple as that. Now Republicans we can work together, but if you want to bicker and fight on every nit picky point, then yes, you will get the "I Won" thrown in your face as a reminder of what this country voted for. It is just a pity that the Republicans were not man or woman enough to challenge their leader, George W. Bush, instead they chose to follow him over the cliff.
With those two words — “I won” — the Democratic president let the Republicans know that debate has been put to rest Nov. 4 .

It is put to rest, at least for the next four years.
