But the reality is that he can not. BP is a foreign company, called British Petroleum. While we all are frustrated, the administration still have to depend on BP to cap this. Now we all have our opinions, but we are trapped in a box. My only complaint has been the slow movement of the Obama Administration, the perception of that, and its total belief in what BP has told them. Which are LIES.

Homes are going into foreclouser in record amount, mosting PRIME MORTGAGES now, not sub-prime, those with good credit but families have lost their jobs, hours cuts, wages frozen. Yes, you and me. I have always said, at times, Barack Obama is too professorial, and needs to be blunt with emotion. Perception means everything to people who are hurting. I hope he figures this out.

Backtrack time, Biden clarifies his statement.

Biden's spokesperson, Elizabeth Alexander, sought to clarify Biden's remarks in a statement issued shortly after his television interview.

"The advice he is giving family members is the same advice the administration is giving to all Americans: that they should avoid unnecessary air travel to and from Mexico," she said.

"If they are sick, they should avoid airplanes and other confined public spaces, such as subways. This is the advice the vice president has given family members who are traveling by commercial airline this week," Alexander said.
