Rahm Emanuel: No troop escalation until assessment of Afghanistan government (Video)

We all know the Afghanistan elections were a fraud, so why would we just blindly send troops to a horrific region and don't know who we are dealing with. My take, we have been at war for eight years, spent BILLIONS, TRILLIONS of dollars with no end in sight or nothing to show for it? We have major domestic problems, but won't even help our own people here? A lot of assessment needs to be made on Afghanistan in a whole. Remember, the Soviets were there for 10 years and got NOTHING in return. When is this ever going to end? Source
