He is on the townhall meeting move, again. This time to tackle health care reform.
If it's time to talk about healthcare reform, it must be time for a "town hall.''
President Barack Obama, pressing Congress for legislation making healthcare more affordable and available for more Americans this summer, will head to Green Bay, Wis., on Thursday for a town-hall styled appearance.
Just as the president used the campaign-styled town halls in Indiana and Florida to press his economic-stimulus earlier this year, Obama plans to call in some of his political capital for the fight over health care -- he carried Wisconsin last year by 13 percentage points, and the latest Gallup Polls have showed his job-approval holding at just over 60 percent.
The president will take the stage at a high school in Green Bay on Thursday afternoon to take and take questions from an audience which the White House says will be "randomly chosen'' from people seeking tickets at a Website or calling a phone line - those lines were open on Monday, the Web-site still open until noon today. read more here.....
