Senator Richard Shelby (R-AL), doubts Obama's citizenship. Can we say ignorant?

Does anyone believe, BELIEVE, that this country will elect a person who is not a naturalized citizen?

We had to deal with the bullcrap of "Obama is not an American" during the election, even though the hospital in Honolulu put his birth certificate ON LINE.

Now we have a U.S. Senator doubting his citizenship? How long and ignorant will the Republican Party remain in the wilderness? Do they really want to stay an ignorant regional party for the duration of Obama in office? Obviously, they do.

At an event last week in Alabama, Sen. Richard Shelby (R-AL) answered a question from a constituent in a way that indicates he still holds doubts, according to the Cullman Times.

Said Shelby: "Well his father was Kenyan and they said he was born in Hawaii, but I haven't seen any birth certificate. You have to be born in America to be president."

Yes, rolleye time and shaking your head time.

Your article is offensive. You should educate yourself on the facts instead of spreading lies. Your link is not to a birth certificate. While you are busy eyerolling, look for your brain.

This is tiresome and boring. Factcheck.org verified his birth certificate months and months ago. Another useless republican trying to stay relevant. http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/born_in_t...

Shelby has a right to wonder if Obama is a “natural born citizen”.
The burden of proof is on Obama, but he couldn't even get a driver's license with these internet "pictures". In court filings, forgery experts insist they are false. Strong evidence shows Obama was born in Kenya, and later became Indonesian when he was adopted by his step-father Soetoro. No US official, Hawaiian or otherwise, has ever stated or implied there is strong evidence for Obama's eligibility. Hawaii gives birth certificates to foreign-born children.

But why the viscous personal attacks from Obama supporters? Let’s just do this and move on. For $12, Obama could send a valid birth certificate to the Supreme Court. Settling it would help us all get behind Obama. It also levels the playing field; ineligible Republicans couldn’t run either.

This is a stupid argument. IT has been proven. IF a damn birth certificate does not provide it WHAT THE FUCK ELSE. Vicious personal attacks? No, ridiculous and ignorant statements which never should have come from a sitting senator, a stateman. Shelby knows better. Lastly, more made up bullshit that will never be proven about Obama because it is NOT TRUE. Fight the battles you can WIN, not this ignorant shit that has folks out here on IGNORE for your party.
