Well, it is not being recreated, nor sold by Jason Wu because the dress is going to the Smithsonian, but you can find it here for $320.00.
Now if you expect all the intricate detailing, like the Swarovski crystals, think again, it is a KNOCK OFF. But this is a dressmaker and like all dressmakers, I am sure if you call them, they can accommodate you.
The website has created a knockoff of the Wu gown. It is the same floor-length silhouette, with embellishment at the shoulder and texture throughout the skirt. But the knockoff is a strikingly brighter shade of white, rather than the soft ivory the first lady danced in.
The edressme.com version is available for pre-order now and will ship starting March 15. It’s $320 and would actually make a sweet wedding dress for brides on a budget.
