    Dick Armey's sexist comment to Joan Walsh on Hardball (Video)

    This gasbag should apologize or never come on Hardball again. Chris Matthews? What are you going to do? It is your show. Dick Armey's comments are midway through the clip and Bob Herbert from the NY Times, on the same show in the next segment said Armey owes Walsh an apology for his sexist comments.

    I had to watch HB a 2nd time, cuz this was such a jaw dropping moment. Weird that all through the segment, B4 the trash-talking, Armey: A) didn't wanna name a female Senator he thought was full of it so HE wouldn't be the story for trash-talking, and B) thought there were important issues to discuss and didn't wanna get caught up in the stupidity of political discourse. Which means that Armey thinks that all political speak is trash talking cuz that -- apparently -- is all he knows.

    For months during the campaign, we heard the pundits discuss/debate real and imagined examples of sexism. Apparently these concerns have evaporated as there has been very little mention or discussion of Dick Armey's incredibly offensive remarks on Chris Matthew's 'Hardball'. Shame too on Matthews who showed his lack of sensitivity following these remarks when he chose to characterize Armey as "a nice guy"!
