    Irresponsible? My mortgage fixed at 6.25% in 2004 was affordable for us. THEN THE FUEL PRICES! OIL cost $1,200. for 2006-2007 heating season. 2007-2008 cost us 3,400. -- do you want to talk about the cost of gas to drive to work? Between the two - we were forced to allow our house to go into foreclosure - ruin our good credit - we're not whiners. We are hard working but gave up the battle at the cost of our marriage!

    John McCain seems tobe absolutely irresponsible to people's needs
    in housing. How will financial institutions and mortgage banks will
    work if he is terming them "irresponsible" ? Does John wants
    American housing economy and financial institutions to come to
    standstill and stagnant non-performing assets of the economcy ?
    Alas ! John McCain who is standing for the President of this great
    country America. God save America .
