    It's not just stupid. It's downright unpatriotic to tell your children not to listen to the president. You don't have to agree with the president, but every president deserves the courtesy of being listened to. God knows I spent enough hours of my life listening to speeches by Nixon, Reagan, Bush I and Bush II.
