    Yes, the Private insurance companies have foooled the republican sheep so well, that they think a president who is clearly and unquestioningly trying to help americans in general and help people live better and longer, is actually a Hitler-like person but with no basis whatsoever.

    I thought his treatment of the lady was poor. He asked her no question to determine why she thought what she did. He gave her no opportunity to betray her ignorance. Just asking her to put her little crib sheet down and speak from her heart would have shown how little she understood of what she was doing. He could have asked her what she was afraid of, and possibly elicited bigotry, self-righteousness, snobbery, fear about the economy, fear about loss of her S. Dartmouth priviledge to the non-white people who work on her farm and keep her from enjoying going out to dinner after an event at the Z. He didn't tell her anything at all, just belittled her.

    This is not the way to get someone to see how poorly they appear to the wider world.

    Frankly, I think he did exactly what too few intelligent people have done lately, snap on a dumb ass when the dumb ass says something dumb. She knew what she was doing. She's not a damned toddler. She compares our president to Hitler. Why even attempt to reason with someone who's mind is so blatantly detached from reality? Denounce it and move the hell on...

    If more people would start challenging this idiocy with equally harsh, but logically sound, arguments the country would be a much better place.
