Barack Obama's Grandmother, Madelyne Dunham has passed away.

This is breaking news, being reported by NBC/MSNBC.

Mrs. Dunham was suffering from cancer.

For all those who tried to make a big deal of Obama leaving his campaign to go see her, this is why. She raised him to the man he is today and went back home to say good-bye.
