    David Shuster, MSNBC, slams the right wing rhetoric on Hardball (Video)

    This video needs to be seen. I happen to see it live as I got home. The Glenn Becks, Hannitys, Rush Limbaughs, Bill O'Reillys are dangerous. Why? They continue to stir right wing rhetoric with no backing of facts. We saw some of this during the campaign, but the hate train is out in full force. Fox News should be ashamed of themselves to allow this nonsense on their stations, but hey they don't care as long as it brings in ratings and money. In other words, fact and truth, need not apply. h/t jed lewison from Daily Kos

    Say what you will; it's quite obvious that the liberal agenda includes an initiative to remove guns fron the hands of "law-abiding-citizens" because inner police departments can't keep guns away from thugs. For those of us who live in large rural areas with only ONE deputy on patrol covering the county, there is significant NEED for some kind of defense against "meth-heads" and the like. Guns are not the problem. It is the lack of respect for others and the property of others that is the problem. The idea of "entitlement" leads to aggression on the streets because the thugs want to acquire "bling" or drug money at the peril of the rest of society. The only ones who will abide by a "gun law" are those of us who are already abiding by the laws; CRIMINALS WILL NOT!!!
