Yes, Strong Women Stood Tall for Barack Obama
Watching these strong individual women was something to see on Sunday, along with the great Stevie Wonder to top it off. But, we were in for a shock, as the First Lady of California came on the stage and said that she is backing Barack Obama's candidacy. Yes, many had their mouths gaped open, including me. But it was Maria Shriver's speech that was riveting and to the heart of the matter. It was what she said about Barack, that I will never forget.

"The more I thought about it, I thought, if Barack Obama was a state, he'd be California. Diverse, open, smart, independent, bucks tradition, inspiring, dreamer, leader."

Those words are Barack Obama. He is truly what we need to transform and move this country, and asking us to help him along the way. When was the last time a president asked us to do anything, to participate anywhere, to care about something? This is the candidacy of Barack Obama.

"YES WE CAN!!!!"
will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas has released a new celeb-studded music video in support of Barack Obama with appearances from Jesse Dylan, Scarlett Johansson, John Legend, Herbie Hancock, Kate Walsh, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Adam Rodriquez, Kelly Hu, Adam Rodriquez, Amber Valetta and Nick Cannon.

Obama and Clinton go nationwide with less face time, more air time

As police motorcycles raced along Sen. Barack Obama's motorcade here Sunday afternoon, three boys playing under a sunny southern sky gazed up with looks of amazement and uncertainty.

The motorcade was a blur. And for the next nine days, the presidential campaign will be too.

After months of toiling mostly in just four states, the Democratic nomination battle has gone national, now literally a coast-to-coast affair that will make the past town hall gatherings and one-on-one meetings seem like quaint and distant memories. more

Obama Campaign Superbowl Statement
A reminder - seven years ago, a patriotic group of Americans had to make a choice between conventional experience and change they desperately needed. It wasn’t an easy decision. Both options were compelling in their own right, but when it was time to make a decision, the choice was clear. The New England Patriots started Tom Brady over Drew Bledsoe, and Brady went on to be the MVP of Super Bowl XXXVI. Now that’s change we can believe in.

The Obama Opportunity by Janet Napolitano, Kathleen Sebelius and Claire McCaskill
Once in a generation, an opportunity comes along -- not just for the Democratic Party, but for the United States of America -- to build a new majority for change. Barack Obama's candidacy offers us that opportunity. As Democrats, and as Americans, we must seize it.

This moment in history is marked by the magnitude of our challenges. Our nation is fighting a war in Iraq that has made us less safe. Our planet is imperiled by a global climate crisis that we have done little to combat. Our economy is sliding toward a recession. Wages aren't keeping pace, as the cost of everything from health care to college is rising. Whether it's a world-class education, a secure mortgage or a dignified retirement, too many Americans are seeing their dreams slip out of reach. more, WSJ

icebergslim’s last word: WE ARE UNDERDOGS.....PERIOD.

I saw a ton of diaries on different sites about Obama as the frontrunner, surging, will win big tomorrow.

Folks, wake up from your dream. It ain’t happening. Why? Hillary Clinton is an established candidate with the establishment behind her. Wake up and get to the Obama Office and work your duffs off. Why? Remember, New Hampshire? No phone number, contact, communication can be unturned tomorrow. It is all about GOTV and GOTCV. Period. And this means looking at the precinct rolls and pulling these folks into the voting booths. That serious.

I don’t agree with my landlord too much, I do have a love/hate with him. That is real. But kos was absolutely RIGHT with his diary, Irrational exuberance.

Writing diary after diary about Obama winning this, that and the other is ridiculously stupid. All you have to do is look at the undecideds to know it ain’t decided!! Meaning, we don’t know how any of this will break, period. So, writing these diaries defeat the purpose, which is working hard for Barack and getting the folks to the caucus spots and polls.

I understand excitement, been doing this a long time, but let us put on our “realist glasses” here and look at this race for what it is. A horserace. Meaning, both candidates are running and we don’t know who will cross the finish line first. So, we keep running until the polls close.

Obama winning enough delegates tomorrow is enough to go on to Maine, Nebraska and Louisiana and then onward to the Potomac Primaries next Tuesday, including Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C. This campaign is about us and hard work, period. Not getting exhilarating on poll numbers, especially Zogby’s.

I am proud of this campaign that Barack has put together; it is truly about each one of us. Even when Barack lost in NH (though he split the delegates evenly with Clinton) it was his brilliant speech of “Yes We Can” that moved us, committed us, and found us believing that we can do this.

This campaign is not paid for by lobbyists, corporations, it is paid by us. Barack hauled in over 32M for the single month of January and 27M was by the INTERNET ALONE. We all own a piece of this. We all are working our you know whats off for this campaign. We are excited and the momentum is in the air, but always remember this, winning don’t come by just assuming it will happen. Winning come by working your you know whats off to make it happen.

This is not over until Obama gets the nomination. A shoutout to all of you working so hard for this campaign. If we win, this will transcend and transform politics from here on out. Always remember that.

Peace, Love, and Hope.
