Chicago Tribune's Jill Zuckerman to work for Obama Administration

Zuckerman has been on television many times, all the cable outlets. A known quantity in Chicago.

Jill Zuckman, national political correspondent for the Chicago Tribune and one of the nation's top political writers, is leaving the Washington Bureau to join the Obama administration as the communications chief for Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood, a former Illinois lawmaker.

Zuckman's title at DOT is Assistant to the Secretary and Director of Public Affairs.
