Obama Evening Wrap Up. McCain's Hateful Frenzy.

Hatred, may not be the answer in the polls for McCain

Everyone has been holding their breath on these nasty McCain/Palin attacks. Chuck Todd on Race for the White House stated that Senator Norm Coleman (R-MN) has suspended ALL NEGATIVE CAMPAIGNING. Which brings one back to maybe this negativity coming from the Republicans are backfiring across the country.

A woman at a McCain rally today said that Obama was Arab. McCain immediately told her she was wrong.

Folks, when we have to view on television hatred toward the other candidate, hear words "terrorist", "kill him", makes many Americans shudder. Many are still walking around here when John, Bobby and Martin were killed. It was not a good time in America. Do we want to walk down a backwards road here? I don't think so.

John McCain and Sarah Palin are scummy politicians who cannot win on the issues, but will sell their souls to try to win on hatred politics. Now we see many conservative op-ed columnists, advocates, and politicians saying this is not the way campaigns should be run.

This country has major problems and need serious persons to help all of us solve them. This hate mongering, hate speech, stroking anger is not going to get McCain to the White House. Who is Barack Obama? He is an open book who has been thoroughly vetted. Who the hell are John McCain and Sarah Palin? That is the question Americans should ask, because those two are scarier than Bush/Cheney.

for real.

McCain Faces Backlash Over Rabid Crowds

John McCain was booed by his own supporters during a rally on Friday after he described Barack Obama as a "decent person and a person that you do not have to be scared of as president of the United States."

McCain was responding to a town hall attendee who claimed he was concerned about raising a child under a president who "cohorts with domestic terrorists such as [Bill] Ayers." Despite the fact that McCain and his campaign have repeatedly used Ayers to hammer Obama in recent days, the Arizona Senator tried to calm his supporter.

"[Senator Obama] is a decent person and a person that you do not have to be scared about as President of the United States," he said, before adding: "If I didn't think I would be one heck of a better president I wouldn't be running."

The crowd groaned with disapproval. Later in the town hall, McCain was pressed again about Obama's "other-ness" and again he refused to play ball.

"I don't trust Obama," a woman said. "I have read about him. He's an Arab."

"No, ma'am," McCain said several times, nodding his head in disagreement. "He's a decent, family man, [a] citizen that I just happen to have disagreements with on fundamental issues and that's what this campaign is all about." continue
